Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and supply chain activities for assigned projects. You will develop strategies, manage project procurement teams, oversee buy-out activities, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Logistics).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, contracts, or construction-related supply chain functions.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing project teams or functional supply chain personnel.
• Experience supporting EPC projects preferred.
• Proven ability to develop procurement strategies, manage buy-outs, and lead supplier negotiations.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contracts, logistics, supplier management, risk management, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project supply chain and procurement activities from kickoff to closeout.
• Develop and execute project-specific supply chain plans, procurement strategies, and sourcing approaches.
• Procure engineered equipment, bulk materials, subcontracted services, and construction commodities.
• Oversee buy-out activities to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to minimize risk.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation related to supplier performance, material availability, and logistics.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and buy-out performance.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, estimating, legal, and construction teams.
