Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring to oversee store operations, providing guidance to Service Specialists and training as needed. You will manage staffing, scheduling, pricing accuracy, and cash handling while ensuring safety and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include reviewing sales data, managing inventory, opening/closing the store, and upholding AML and health-safety standards. A high school diploma plus relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education.
• Certifications listed (TABC/LACT/AATC, AML, HIPAA, Food Handler, Manager Food Safety) required.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop partners; manage scheduling and performance.
• Experience with inventory, pricing, and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Carries out management responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners.
• Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining partners.
• Scheduling, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Reviews historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions.
• Manages inventory to ensure in-stock levels; reviews profit/loss, shrink, and labor data.
• Balances tills and ensures proper tender procedures; opens/closes store as assigned.
• Ensures compliance with safety and health standards; maintains cleanliness.
