Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead multi-department teams, ensuring quality products, safe operations, and optimal inventory levels across stores. You will implement merchandising plans, drive sales, and uphold company standards while mentoring partners and maintaining excellent customer service.

You will manage scheduling, performance reviews, and training, with focus on loss prevention, cost control, and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Associates Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
• Must obtain HIPAA certification within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain Tobacco/Alcohol certification (where applicable) within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, trains and develops partners; plans, assigns and directs work.
• Reviews historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions; manages inventory and performance data.
• Maintains sales performance, cash flow, and product quality; ensures safety and customer service standards.
• Oversees pricing, signage accuracy, merchandising, and store layout execution.
• Plans short-term strategic objectives aligned with banner strategies and aims to maximize profitability.
