Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. in Dublin, CA seeks a Manager of Store Fixture Installations and Capital Projects to lead a team of project leads and coordinators, coordinating with cross-functional partners to deliver fixture installations and capital initiatives on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership and project management experience, preferably in a retail setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to successfully influence and drive results through cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong customer focus. Anticipates customer needs and takes action to meet them; continually searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction and improve processes.
• Strong knowledge of store operations, fixtures, and installation processes.
• Strong experience with developing budgets, monthly forecasts, reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Able to travel as required.
• Regular in-office presence with hybrid/remote work optional.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Project Leads and Coordinators; manage planning, fixture installation, vendor management, and store communication.
• Ensure planning tools, reporting, and schedules are executed; identify and fix issues early and minimize shortages and go-backs.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors and cross-functional partners (Store Planning/Design, Construction, Property Development, Loss Prevention, IT, Janitorial) and Store Leadership to ensure timely execution.
• Manage all aspects of the project bid process: vendor selection, bid qualification, pricing analysis, and contract awards.
• Develop annual store capital budgets, approve forecasts, and secure funding; partner with Finance for ad-hoc spend analyses.
• Travel to Ross and dd's stores to oversee fixture quality, delivery, and project execution.
• Serve as main point of contact for the Field on fixture installations and capital projects; provide status updates.
• Oversee development, engagement, and performance of Project Leads and Coordinators.
• Lead sourcing and training of installation vendors; manage vendor performance and contract/SOW negotiations.
• Sign off on communications and plans to Stores during installations and projects.
