Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Planning Lead in Dublin, CA to design and develop store concepts, fixture plans and documentation. You will provide data-driven analyses on merchandise units, sales and capacity, presenting floor plan proposals to senior management in Excel and PowerPoint.

The role requires strong AutoCAD and MS Office skills, at least 5 years in space planning, and 2 years of project leadership within store planning. Occasional travel to stores is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Space Planning using AutoCAD.
• 2+ years leading projects in a Store Planning related field.
• 4-year degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design related field or equivalent preferred.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as Teams.
• Strong organizational skills and precise attention to detail.
• Effective communication with excellent follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project schedule(s) and provide weekly status updates to the Manager, Store Planning & Design.
• Manage all planning projects for Store Operations, including presentation of work to senior leadership.
• Coordinate resource allocation and assignment of all projects within the team.
• Oversee development of plans and documents for new stores and other projects.
• Partner with Manager as single point of contact for all assigned projects and ensure execution within standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across Store Planning, Fixture Design, and Fixture Purchasing teams.
• Maintain internal database of active stores, fixture types, data accuracy, and interface with third-party software for bugs/audits.
