Job summary

Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Senior Program Manager for Space Systems to lead multiple concurrent development programs from proposal through production. You will coordinate engineering, operations, business development, finance, and contracts, serving as the primary customer advocate and contact.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering, 15+ years of program management, and US citizenship with eligibility for a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree required.
• 15+ years of program management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Aerospace or similar technical field experience preferred.
• Experience with Additive Manufacturing a plus.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project expertise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• People management and influence/conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of operations including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.
• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create and release project Work Breakdown Structure with approved budgets.
• Maintain project Integrated Master Schedule.
• Facilitate IPD process and design reviews and gate reviews.
• Lead weekly internal and customer meetings with action item tracking.
• Prepare Monthly Program Review materials for executive leadership.
