Job summary

Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Program Manager II (Space Systems) to lead aerospace and military IPD teams through design, development, qualification and LRIP production. You will plan, measure progress, manage scope, and report status to executives and customers while pursuing business development with assigned markets.

Qualifications

• Space industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering, science, or business discipline.
• 2–5 years’ PM experience in aerospace and/or military mechanical/electrical design, development, and manufacturing.
• Understanding of PMI PM principles.
• Exemplary verbal/written communication for interactions with all levels and external partners.
• Highly computer literate with MS Office and related systems.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Growth of commercial relationships with new private companies in the space-launcher market.
• NRE Cost, Design to Cost, and Schedule performance for assigned projects (shared with functional leadership).
• Customer satisfaction for assigned projects.
• Creation and release of project Work Breakdown Schedule.
• Creation and maintenance of project Integrated Master Schedule.
• Facilitation of IPD Team meetings and documentation of minutes and actions.
• Reviewing labor, material plans and cost reports; control of project scope.
