Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead a strategic contract in the Exploration, Environment & Earth Intelligence Division.

The PM will be the primary customer contact, supervise technical staff, and drive program performance, budgets, and risk management across multiple projects with a focus on NASA and space industry opportunities. The role requires strong leadership, communications, and business development capabilities, with a preference for candidates near a NASA center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field with 10+ years’ technical/supervisory experience or a Master’s with 8+ years’ experience.
• 4+ years of program management experience on a technical program or large multi-faceted task order with annual value of $10M+.
• Experience with different contract types, such as FFP.
• Experience in financial, performance, risk, and change management processes.
• Experience leading multi-function project teams in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in business development processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with executive level interaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for overall contract performance (scope, cost, schedule, staffing, quality).
• Act as the primary customer contact (CO/COR) and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Plan, organize and manage multiple teams led by technical leads across projects.
• Coordinate with other companies and support personnel to execute contract plans.
• Generate forecasts for budget, labor resources, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform contract management tasks to meet obligations (OCI, property, IT security).
• Ensure optimal staffing levels and oversee multi-function project teams.
• Manage subcontractor and teaming partner performance as applicable.
• Communicate program status to customer and Leidos management.
• Support proposal, recompete, and business-growth activities.
