Job summary

Leidos seeks a Program Manager to lead a contingent program in the Exploration, Environment & Earth Intelligence Division, overseeing scope, cost, schedule, staffing and technical quality for NASA and space industry clients.

You will supervise teams, coordinate with customers and partners, drive proposals and business growth, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance and delivery of high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years technical/ supervisory experience or Master’s with 8+ years in space programs.
• Minimum 4 years’ program management experience on a technical program with $10M+ annual value.
• Experience with different contract types, such as FFP.
• Experience in financial, performance, business, process, resource, risk and change management.
• Experience leading multi-function teams and in business development processes.
• Excellent oral and written communications with executive-level interaction.
• Interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching and team building.
• Analytical and organizational skills to manage competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Single point of accountability for contract performance (scope, cost, schedule, staffing, quality).
• Serve as customer primary point of contact (CO/COR) and interface with executives.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Plan, organize and manage multiple teams led by technical leads across projects.
• Coordinate with partners to execute contract plans and forecast resources and budget.
• Ensure compliance with OCI, property, information/IT security obligations.
• Staff the program with appropriate skill levels and oversee multi-function teams.
• Manage subcontractor and teaming partner performance where applicable.
• Report program status to customer and Leidos Division Manager.
• Support proposals, recompetes, and business development opportunities.
