Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Manager to lead a complex space-focused program, ensuring contract performance, cost control, and schedule adherence. The PM will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage subcontractors, and serve as the primary customer point of contact with executive-level communication.

The role requires a strong background in engineering or related fields, with 10+ years leading technical programs and at least 4 years in program management within space-related contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field with 10+ years leading space-related programs.
• Experience managing programs with annual value of $10M+ and multiple contractors.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities for executive-level interactions.

Responsibilities

• Single point of accountability for contract performance including scope, cost, schedule, staffing and technical quality.
• Serve as customer liaison with CO, COR and technical leadership; build strong client relationships.
• Plan and manage multiple teams and oversee subcontractor performance where applicable.
• Generate forecasts for budget, labor resources, equipment and supplies.
• Ensure program staffing levels and compliance with contract provisions; manage risk.
