Job summary

Leidos LLC in Webster, Texas is seeking a Program Manager to lead a NASA-focused contract within the Exploration, Environment & Earth Intelligence Division. You will supervise program delivery, manage scope, cost, schedule, and staffing, and serve as the primary customer contact.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or related field with 15+ years of technical/leadership experience and at least 5 years in program management for large, multi-faceted tasks.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technical and/or supervisory/management experience.
• 5+ years of program management for large, multi-faceted tasks valued at $30M+.
• Experience with IDIQ contracts and aerospace software development.
• Strong leadership, financial, risk, and organizational change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for overall contract performance including scope, cost, schedule, staffing, and technical quality.
• Act as primary contact for CO, COR, and customer leadership, maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Plan, organize and manage multi-team projects across engineering, simulation, and spaceflight software domains.
• Develop and maintain simulation models and training software, including VR products.
• Oversee spaceflight software and lab management, including safety-critical system considerations.
• Assess requirements/designs/certification and support human-rated software development.
• Direct budgeting for contract labor, equipment, and supplies; ensure OCI and information security compliance.
• Lead multifunctional teams in a matrixed organization and foster partnerships for growth.
• Support business development activities and pursue adjacent mission opportunities.
• Mentor and develop staff for career progression and continuity.
