Job summary

IGNITE is seeking a Space Management Specialist at Eglin AFB, FL. You will manage space utilization, data integrity, and reporting to support Air Force space needs and occupancy planning across the Wing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. You will coordinate with facilities, project teams, and leadership to ensure accurate, timely insights and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; US citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting programs.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills; proficient with Excel, PivotTables, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Responds to Air Force space needs and ensures alignment with mission.
• Ensures design, services comply with policy and standards.
• Recommends alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning as needed.
• Coordinates tenant move-ins/outs and conducts space walk-throughs.
• Acts as point of contact with Air Force facilities managers.
• Prepares and delivers timely reports on space requirements for leadership.
• Forecasts space plans and explains variances to executives.
• Maintains occupancy data and planning database for the Wing.
• Collaborates with Building Planners and Project Managers on occupancy info.
• Performs field verifications of occupancy data and space utilization.
• Maintains employee data and building drawings in the database.
• Compiles quarterly reports and headcount/space analyses.
• Delivers detailed reports to Air Force leadership.
• Attends daily project review meetings.
• Maintains relationships across Air Force facilities teams.
• Provides data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Provides guidance and training as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
