Job summary

IGNITE, located in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Loads and Dynamics Engineer to support the NGI Program. This role focuses on ensuring spacecraft and flight hardware can withstand harsh launch and space environments.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and possess over three years of experience in structural dynamics analyses. Active Secret clearance is required to join the mission-driven team at IGNITE.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience performing structural dynamics analyses for spacecraft.
• Expertise in vibroacoustic and shock analyses on spacecraft or launch vehicles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural dynamics analysis for spacecraft flight hardware.
• Develop and maintain analytical models for vibration and mechanical loading.
• Conduct load development at component, subsystem, and system levels.
