Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Facilities Manager to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.

The role involves managing maintenance contracts, coordinating with contractors and staff, and ensuring health and safety compliance. You will serve as the liaison between the agency and contracted companies, plan space use, and respond promptly to emergencies daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; 2+ years direct/related experience may substitute for degree.
• 2+ years direct/related experience required.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee maintenance contracts.
• Manage personnel, supervise and coordinate work of contractors.
• Act as primary liaison between agency and contracted companies.
• Ensure building meets health and safety requirements and complies with laws and regulations.
• Plan space allocation and resources for new buildings or reorganizing current premises.
• Verify contractor work is completed satisfactorily and address deficiencies.
• Respond to emergencies or urgent issues on a daily basis.
