Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Business Development Manager 2 to lead BD and strategy for Air Force Solid Rocket Motor programs within Propulsion Systems. The role may be based on Bacchus or Promontory campuses in Utah.

The selected candidate will drive sustainment and growth of existing programs, develop future capture strategies, and coordinate cross-functional teams to win new business. A current Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of aerospace government procurement experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in capture management, business development, project/program management or engineering
• Ability to conduct independent initial discussions with Space Science and Technology community
• Must possess a current Secret clearance at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Lead BD and strategy for Air Force SRM programs within Propulsion Systems
• Guide sustainment and growth of existing targets and develop future capture strategy
• Develop early win strategies for outreach and pursuits in Air Force propulsion
• Convene multi-functional teams to create mission discriminators through innovative tech
• Interface with senior management concisely on broad topics
• Assist capture/proposal managers with proposals and execution
