Job summary

XRI Water is seeking a dedicated Sourcing Specialist to support the Procurement team in Midland, TX. The role focuses on RFQ activities, bid evaluations, supplier coordination, and PO management to ensure cost-effective sourcing for operations and engineering teams.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years’ procurement experience, with strong Excel skills and ERP exposure. On-site work and flexibility for non-standard hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in procurement or sourcing.
• Excel proficiency and exposure to ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify supplier capabilities and pre-qualification setup.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate proposals.
• Enter and verify data in vendor management systems.
• Construct sourcing reports and interpret results.
• Coordinate supplier terms and communications.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to align supplier selections with field needs.
• Adhere to HSE policies and supplier risk procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
