Job summary

Dow is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support the Operations Material & Equipment Sourcing Team across Houston, TX; Freeport, TX; or Midland, MI. You will engage clients to ensure sourcing needs are defined and supplier performance meets standards, negotiating purchases and executing POs.

We value collaboration, market intelligence, and strong negotiation skills as you optimize the Source-to-Pay cycle and leverage tools like Zycus and Ariba.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at/above E5; or 8 years relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of the supply market and conduct strategic sourcing projects.
• Negotiate and implement commercial agreements per strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Engage stakeholders to clarify scope, quality, and volumes.
• Investigate Quality, Service, and Product Performance.
• Analyze data to identify spend improvements.
• Utilize e-Sourcing tools (e.g., Zycus) to improve purchasing efficiency.
