Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Indirect leader to develop and execute category strategies for indirect goods and services. You will partner with stakeholders to optimize costs, mitigate risk, and drive enterprise value across IT, ITO, and BPO categories.

Responsibilities include roadmaps, contract negotiations, supplier management, and governance of RFx processes. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in strategic sourcing with a track record of delivering cost savings and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field, preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing comprehensive category strategies, strategic sourcing initiatives, and robust supplier management programs.
• Specialized expertise in sourcing and negotiating complex, high-value agreements for ITO, BPO, and contingent labor categories.

Responsibilities

• Lead team across IT, ITO, and BPO categories to execute sourcing strategies.
• Develop and execute multi-year category roadmaps and annual sourcing plans.
• Partner with business unit leaders to align supplier portfolios with goals.
• Lead negotiations for complex, high-value agreements with strong terms and SLAs.
• Collaborate with legal, risk management, and finance to ensure compliance.
• Drive supplier performance reviews and value realization.
• Oversee day-to-day RFx processes and project evaluations.
• Support special sourcing projects as needed.
