Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced Strategic Sourcing Indirect leader to drive cost optimization and risk mitigation across IT, ITO, and BPO categories. The role partners with business units to develop category roadmaps, conduct negotiations, and ensure compliance with procurement standards.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in strategic sourcing, a bachelor’s degree, and a track record of cross-functional leadership, supplier performance management, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing comprehensive category strategies, strategic sourcing initiatives, and robust supplier management programs
• Specialized expertise in sourcing and negotiating complex, high-value agreements for IT Outsourcing (ITO), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and contingent labor categories

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing team across IT, ITO, and BPO categories.
• Develop multi-year category roadmaps and annual sourcing plans.
• Partner with business leaders to align supplier portfolios with goals.
• Negotiate complex, high-value contracts with strong terms and SLAs.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, and finance to ensure compliance.
• Drive supplier performance reviews and strategic value.
• Oversee day-to-day RFx processes and project evaluations.
