Cardinal Health seeks an experienced Strategic Sourcing Indirect leader for the Columbus area or remote candidates in Eastern/Central time zones. You will shape category strategies, drive cost optimization, and partner with stakeholders across IT, ITO, and BPO to strengthen supplier performance and value.
The role advances roadmaps, negotiations, governance, and cross-functional alignment with procurement standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Specialized expertise in sourcing and negotiating complex, high-value IT Outsourcing (ITO), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and contingent labor.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and develop multi-year category roadmaps across IT, ITO, and BPO.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team to execute category strategies.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with strong terms, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Partner with legal, risk, and finance to ensure compliant contracts.
- Drive supplier performance management and continuous value with governance.
- Oversee day-to-day RFx processes and ensure procurement standards compliance.
