Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing leader to drive indirect category strategies and multi-year roadmaps. You will partner with business units to align supplier portfolios with long-term goals, lead complex contract negotiations, and ensure governance across RFx processes and supplier performance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with legal, risk, and finance, while coaching a high-performing team to optimize cost, mitigate risk, and deliver sustained value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Proven track record of developing and executing category strategies and supplier management programs.
• Expertise in sourcing and negotiating complex, high-value agreements for IT Outsourcing (ITO), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and contingent labor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing team across IT, ITO, and BPO categories.
• Develop and execute multi-year category roadmaps and annual sourcing plans.
• Partner with business unit leaders to align supplier portfolios with strategic goals.
• Lead negotiations for complex, high-value contracts with strong terms and SLAs.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, and finance to ensure compliance with procurement standards.
• Drive supplier performance reviews and ongoing value optimization.
• Oversee day-to-day RFx processes and project workflow for efficiency.
