Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support North American compressor product sourcing. You will build strong relationships with engineering and suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

You will lead supplier negotiations, manage RFQs, and coordinate with plants, finance, and quality teams to optimize supply assurance and value. This is a fully site-based role with travel up to 10% in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in progressively responsible sourcing roles.
• 3+ years' experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• 5+ years' experience with negotiation and vendor assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and supplier selection.
• Analyze spends and variances to identify savings opportunities.
• Lead RFP processes with stakeholders.
• Qualify new parts with suppliers and internal teams.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and inventory programs.
• Coordinate with commodity teams and multiple departments to ensure project benefits.
