Job summary

Vizient is seeking a strategic sourcing leader to manage NPC aggregation activities within the Vizient ecosystem, partnering with Yale New Haven, NPC staff, and internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class service and value.

You will guide negotiations, supplier relationships, and reporting insights across multiple departments; travel will be required to meet providers and suppliers. This role offers incentive eligibility and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in health care, contracting, negotiating, or sales.
• Experience in management, leading teams, or consulting is preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior management.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with Yale New Haven/NPC sourcing teams and internal Vizient stakeholders.
• Develop pipeline and opportunities for growth with NPC teams.
• Lead NPC member relationship support and negotiations to drive value in RFPs.
• Coordinate strategy and operations for sourcing, negotiations, and implementation.
• Maintain cross-functional internal relationships to meet stakeholder needs.
• Guide RFP processes and contractual terms to ensure favorable outcomes.
• Negotiate with key suppliers to maximize value in contracting.
• Collaborate on reports and insights to support contracting decisions.
• Understand operations and market dynamics across departments and physician preference areas.
• Present successes and opportunities to Vizient leadership and health system members.
• Mentor and develop members of the sourcing team.
• Support Reveal program expansion and supplier onboarding.
