Job summary

Vizient is seeking a strategic Sourcing Lead to manage the NPC aggregation group’s sourcing and implementation activities, collaborating with Yale New Haven, NPC staff, and Vizient stakeholders to deliver best-in-class value.

The role focuses on partnerships, negotiations, and contracting support across multiple departments, including Medical Surgical, Cardiology, Orthopedics, IT, HR, and Finance, with travel required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in health care, contracting, negotiating, or sales.
• Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
• Strong presentation skills; experience presenting to senior management.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with Yale New Haven/NPC sourcing teams and internal Vizient stakeholders.
• Develop pipeline and opportunities for growth within NPC.
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers to drive value in RFP processes.
• Collaborate with analysts to develop reporting insights supporting contracting.
• Provide guidance through contracting processes and understand RFP terms and conditions.
• Mentor and develop sourcing team members.
