Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking an experienced strategic sourcing expert to lead enterprise healthcare initiatives, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and drive value realization for clients and stakeholders.

You will partner with clinicians and supply chain leaders to deliver evidence-based sourcing decisions, oversee the full sourcing lifecycle, and promote responsible use of AI in strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise sourcing, healthcare, or regulated industries.
• Advanced AI fluency and ability to evaluate AI solutions in business contexts.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience leading clinical sourcing, contracting and value analysis initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies that align client priorities with market opportunities.
• Lead the complete sourcing lifecycle: requirements, market assessments, RFIs/RFPs, evaluations, negotiations, contracts, implementation, post‑award activities.
• Negotiate complex supplier agreements and contracts on behalf of clients.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, and market positioning to drive recommendations.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to resolve sourcing and contracting issues.
• Lead value-analysis committees and align stakeholders to support evidence‑based decisions.
• Present strategies and savings analyses to executive leadership and drive implementation.
• Analyze spend, utilization, and market data to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Communicate outcomes, including savings, quality improvements, and supply assurance.
• Apply AI insights to improve strategy, analysis, and decision-making while promoting responsible AI use.
