Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a strategic sourcing expert to lead enterprise sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable financial, operational, and clinical value.

You will negotiate supplier agreements, develop sourcing strategies, and facilitate value analysis with clinicians, physicians, and supply chain leaders to support evidence-based decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize supplier performance, drive decision-making, and implement sourcing solutions

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience required.
• Healthcare provider, group purchasing organization, consulting, or other regulated industry experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated success independently leading complex enterprise sourcing initiatives; clinical sourcing, contracting, and value analysis experience is a plus.
• Strong experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and commercial contracts.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional stakeholder committees and building consensus among clinical and operational leaders.
• Advanced analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated advanced AI fluency with the ability to effectively leverage and critically evaluate AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with client priorities, objectives and market opportunities.
• Lead the complete sourcing lifecycle: requirements, market assessments, RFIs/RFPs, evaluations, negotiations, contracts, implementation, post-award.
• Negotiate complex contractual, operational, service, and financial agreements.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, and market position to guide recommendations.
• Collaborate with legal, contracting, finance and operations to resolve issues.
• Lead value analysis committees and align stakeholders for evidence-based decisions.
• Present strategies, analyses, and recommendations to executives.
• Analyze spend, utilization, supplier and market data to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
