Job summary

Vizient, Inc. seeks a strategic sourcing expert to lead enterprise healthcare sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable value across financial, operational, and clinical outcomes.

You will manage sourcing lifecycles, negotiate complex agreements, analyze spend and supplier performance, and collaborate with clinicians and supply chain leaders to implement evidence-based sourcing strategies. Qualifications

• Advanced analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Advanced AI fluency with ability to evaluate AI solutions in complex business environments.
• Experience leading clinical sourcing, contracting, and value analysis initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies that align client priorities and market opportunities.
• Lead the complete sourcing lifecycle: requirements, RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contracts, implementation.
• Negotiate complex contractual, operational, and financial agreements with suppliers for clients.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and market positioning to develop strategic sourcing recommendations.
• Partner with legal, finance, and operations to resolve complex issues.
• Lead value analysis committees and align stakeholders for evidence-based decisions.
• Present strategies, financial analyses, and implementation plans to executive leadership.
• Analyze spend, utilization, and market data to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Measure savings, value realization, and supply performance.
• Apply AI fluency to improve strategy and decision-making.
