Job summary

Vizient is seeking a seasoned professional to lead strategic sourcing and category management across complex categories in a hybrid role. You will partner with clinicians, supply chain leaders, and suppliers to drive measurable savings and improvements in value, quality, and service.

You will conduct market analyses, guide supplier negotiations, and support contract development and implementation while leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance research and insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or related field.
• Experience supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, or category management activities.
• Strong analytical skills with spend, utilization, supplier, and market data.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for assigned product and service areas.
• Partner to manage sourcing initiatives from opportunity identification to implementation.
• Conduct category, market, supplier, utilization, and spend analyses to support recommendations.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and sourcing event deliverables.
• Analyze proposals and contracts to identify savings and improvements.
• Collaborate with clinicians, supplier partners, and stakeholders throughout sourcing lifecycle.
