Cardinal Health in the United States seeks an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing — Indirect. You will lead end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories, partner with business stakeholders, and leverage spend analytics to identify cost optimization opportunities.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in indirect sourcing, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage RFPs and contracts while coordinating with legal and compliance to secure favorable terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 3+ years in strategic sourcing (indirect) with category management and negotiation experience preferred.
• Effective communication and presentation skills in English.
• Strong financial acumen and MS Office proficiency; SAP/SAP Ariba is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Category Sourcing Lead for assigned indirect categories (e.g., EHS, Energy, Facilities).
• Primary sourcing partner for stakeholders within indirect categories.
• Source indirect goods and services with suppliers; negotiate contracts.
• Manage RFP events; maintain existing contracts and drive purchasing discipline.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance on favorable terms.
