Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing to manage end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories. You will build relations with business partners to define needs, run competitive bids, negotiate contracts and drive cost optimization using spend analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, supply chain, finance, economics or related field.
• 3+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management and negotiation.
• Effective English communication and presentation skills across levels.
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of procurement processes.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/SAP Ariba is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead category sourcing for indirect areas such as EHS, energy and facilities.
• Partner with stakeholders and indirect suppliers to source goods and services.
• Initiate, negotiate and finalize supplier contracts and maintain existing ones.
• Manage RFP events and ensure purchasing discipline and compliance.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance to secure favorable terms.
