Job summary

BlackLine Systems, Inc. seeks a seasoned Solution Advisor leader to architect, pilot, and scale a Forward-Deployed Advisory practice within our GTM engine. You will mentor senior advisors and partner with C-suite executives on multi-million-dollar transformations, delivering deep architectural alignment and tangible ROI.

You will institutionalize discovery standards, craft repeatable demos, and drive cross-functional collaboration to compress sales cycles and ensure successful post-sale adoption.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance or MIS/CS preferred.
• 10–12+ years in enterprise SaaS solution consulting or pre-sales.
• Deep ERP/finance domain with CFO/CAO processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect and pilot a new Forward-Deployed Advisory program within our GTM engine.
• Lead and mentor senior Solution Advisors and drive consultative rigor.
• Partner with C-suite on flagship, multi-million-dollar transformations; build credibility with CAOs/CIOs/CFOs.
• Institute global standards for discovery and solution architecture tied to ERP/finance pain points.
• Create repeatable assets and narratives to enable faster enterprise deals.
• Translate AI and automation into operational value and finance tech ROI.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Success for seamless handoffs.
