Job summary
Hiscox USA is seeking a Solution Architect for Traded Systems in a hybrid role with two days in the office weekly, based in Boston or Atlanta. You will design, govern, and evolve end-to-end technology solutions across underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims, and distribution, partnering with business leaders and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate has deep insurance domain knowledge, strong architecture leadership, and experience with Java and/or .NET, relational databases, and
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture
- 5+ years of experience in insurance technology environments
- Strong knowledge of P&C or Commercial insurance operations
- Experience with Core Insurance Platforms
- Experience in an Agile software development environment
- Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate architecture strategy for a complex program
- Document architecture artifacts and defend them to Architecture Review Board
- Ensure downstream system integrations are supported as the platform evolves
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to align implementations
- Engage with technical teams to deliver the solution across technologies
