Job summary

Hiscox USA is seeking a Solution Architect to design end‑to‑end technology solutions for Digital Experience and API integration within the insurance value chain. This role partners with business leaders, product owners, engineering teams and vendors to ensure scalable, secure architectures.

Hybrid work model with two days in the office weekly; location in Atlanta or Boston. Salary range $110k–$150k plus bonus, reflecting the scope, complexity and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of UX/CX tooling, patterns and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Core Insurance Platforms.
• Understanding of architecture principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own architecture strategy/design for a complex program.
• Document architecture artifacts (As-Is, To-Be) and defend them to ARB.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to align implementations.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into designs.
• Lead delivery with AI and UX/CX tooling across projects.
