Job summary

Hiscox USA seeks a skilled Solution Architect to lead Claims Transformation, designing end-to-end technology solutions across underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims. This hybrid role requires collaboration with business leaders, product owners, engineering teams and vendors to ensure scalable, secure architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance technology environments, specifically Claims platforms.
• Strong knowledge of P&C or Commercial insurance operations.

Responsibilities

• Interact with stakeholders across technical and non-technical levels to align on architecture.
• Own the architecture strategy for a complex program and communicate it clearly.
• Document Architecture artifacts (As-Is, Transformation, End-State) and defend them to Architecture Review Boards.
• Ensure downstream system integrations (Reporting, Document Production, Finance) remain aligned with core platform evolution.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate implementations against architecture.
