Job summary

Hiscox USA is seeking a Solution Architect for Claims Transformation, based in the US (Atlanta/Boston). The role reports to the Head of Solution Architecture, US, and requires shaping the architecture across complex programs while aligning with business goals and downstream systems.

You will engage with engineers and executives, drive architecture values, and ensure delivery teams implement robust, scalable solutions using Java and/or .NET, SQL databases, and integration platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance technology environments – Claims platforms.
• Strong knowledge of P&C or Commercial insurance operations.
• Experience with Core Insurance Platforms.
• Ability to communicate architecture decisions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture strategy and design for a complex program of work.
• Convey architectural and risk elements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and defend architecture artifacts (As-Is, Transformation, To-Be).
• Collaborate with business teams to ensure integrations and downstream systems are aligned.
