Job summary

Hiscox USA in Atlanta/Boston is seeking a Solution Architect for Traded Systems to design end-to-end technology solutions across underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims and distribution.

The role partners with business leaders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure architectures aligned with enterprise standards, and requires strong insurance domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of P&C or Commercial insurance operations.
• Experience with Core Insurance Platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment.
• Track record of managing the architecture of multiple change programs.
• Self-starter who can work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture strategy and design for a complex program of work.
• Document As-Is Architecture, Transformation Architecture and End-State or To-Be Architecture.
• Defend these solutions before Architecture Review Board.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure alignment with current implementations and future changes.
• Coordinate with downstream teams for integrations (Reporting, Document Production, Finance).
