Job summary

Cisco’s Solutions Development Architecture (SDA) team leads consultative pre-sales architecture, translating complex customer needs into holistic blueprints and multi-year journey maps aligned to business outcomes.

You will partner with Service Sales, Account Teams, and DAT to shape opportunities, lead CX RFP/RFI responses, and collaborate with post-sales delivery architects to de-risk deployments and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field or related experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in technical solutions architecture or engineering.
• Expert-level industry certification such as CCIE or equivalent.
• Demonstrated proficiency across at least two major Cisco technology domains.
• Proven track record managing complex multi-architecture technical engagement lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-domain transformational solutions by translating business and technical requirements into blueprints and journey maps.
• Hunt and accelerate lifecycle opportunities with sales and DAT teams to progress high-value deals to closure.
• Lead CX RFP/RFI engagements and articulate Cisco’s business value.
• Bridge pre-sales to delivery by conducting risk assessments and cost-feasibility mapping.
• Influence senior IT/OT decision-makers using industry knowledge to build confidence in Cisco’s roadmap.
• Incubate emerging services and reusable IP in collaboration with GTM and CXPM teams.
• Mentor architects and lead architectural transformation workshops.
