Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end service design and capture activities for government and public sector opportunities in the UK. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, shape proposals, and ensure value for money while aligning with stakeholder needs.

The role emphasizes customer understanding, operational excellence, and people and culture, with heavy focus on bid governance, risk mitigation, and delivering integrated solutions for complex client challenges.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable service design experience - capturing existing customer journeys and leading the re-imagination of future customer journeys via facilitated workshops.
• Experience identifying how technology can improve customer experience and increase value for money and the documentation of functional technology requirements.
• Prior experience of Public Sector bidding within Employability, Health, Justice or Contact Centre environments.
• Proven ability working with key bid team and wider solution workstream stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional bid teams to develop end-to-end solutions that meet client objectives.
• Define and communicate high-level service designs and benefits to stakeholders.
• Create bid narratives and edit final materials alongside Bid Director/Business Development Mgr.
