Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Senior Bid Lead with strong service design experience to develop tailored, end-to-end solutions for public sector opportunities. You will manage matrix bid teams, coordinate with operations and finance, and ensure solutions meet client objectives and affordability targets.

In this role, you will drive stakeholder engagement, reimagine customer journeys, and articulate clear bid narratives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable service design experience capturing existing customer journeys and leading re-imagination of future journeys.
• Experience identifying how technology can improve customer experience and increase value for money; documenting functional technology requirements.
• Prior experience of Public Sector bidding within Employability, Health, Justice or Contact Centre environments.
• Proven ability to work with key bid team and wider solution workstream stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manages bid teams and solution workstreams to deliver integrated bid responses.
• Leads design of end-to-end services aligned with strategy and affordability targets.
• Collaborates with partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to refine requirements and solutions.
• Oversees customer engagement, manages expectations, and ensures alignment with client objectives.
