Job summary

Qcells USA Corp in Houston, TX seeks a Procurement Manager to drive major equipment procurement from RFP to contract execution. You will identify vendors, manage supplier performance, and coordinate with Project Management to resolve issues.

This role reports to the Director of Procurement from the Houston office with a remote work schedule and up to 15% travel. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in procurement/contract management, with solar/construction project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Contract Management and/or Procurement.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in solar and/or construction projects over $30M in procurement.
• Preferred experience in Solar or Renewable Energy.
• Knowledge in contract management and change order management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in conducting supplier reviews and maintaining good vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the procurement of materials and/or services.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers in alignment with company’s strategic goals.
• Lead the RFP process including preparing RFPs and bid schedules.
• Lead commercial negotiations for Equipment Supply Agreements and project orders.
• Monitor supplier compliance to contract terms and project requirements.
• Maintain purchasing records and analyze market data for leadership.
• Identify, qualify and onboard new vendors.
• Travel up to 15% as needed.
