Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost, schedule, and contractual controls for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from our Houston, TX hub. The role supports the VP of Construction and requires coordinating with multiple internal teams and external partners.

The position offers remote/hybrid work with travel up to 30% and requires a strong background in EPC renewables, planning, and data-driven reporting to drive efficient project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Renewable Energy field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EPC related to renewable energy projects.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or management role, and mentoring engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel, at least 30% of the time.
• Experience working internationally.
• Ability to motivate and develop others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project cost and schedule reporting procedures and processes.
• Develop and review project schedules, cost estimates, BOMs, budgets, scopes of work, quotes from suppliers.
• Coordinate information flow between designated projects and office teams.
• Monitor multiple EPC projects and manage risks.
• Perform cost and productivity analysis / risk analysis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for engineering progress, schedule and budgets.
