Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the purchase process for capital equipment, rental gear, and related services from RFP through PO/contract execution. You will qualify vendors, manage NDA processes, and maintain a vendor database, interacting with internal teams and key suppliers to achieve cost-effective outcomes.

You will report to the Senior Procurement Manager and operate on a hybrid schedule out of Houston, TX, with travel up to 15% to support multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-4 years of experience in Contract Management and/or Procurement.
• Preference for experience in solar and/or renewable energy with projects of at least 50MW.
• Experience in capital equipment purchasing.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to support project schedules and deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software systems (Procore, E-Builder, CMiC, etc.).
• SAP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with key vendors to support strategic goals.
• Collaborate to issue contracts for services and equipment.
• Perform vendor onboarding (NDA & pre-qualification).
• Issue RFPs and prepare documentation with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain bid schedules aligned with project timelines.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs from bidders.
• Review and evaluate vendor proposals for cost efficiency.
• Support negotiations for Master Services and rental agreements.
