Job summary

Qcells USA Corp is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist in Houston, TX, to manage the procurement of major equipment for EPC projects from RFP to contract execution. You will identify new vendors, maintain supplier databases, and support pre-qualification while ensuring project schedule alignment.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in contract management or procurement, with solar or renewable energy project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 4-6 years of experience in Contract Management and/or Procurement.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in solar and/or construction projects with procurement or subcontracting over $30M.
• Preferred experience in Solar or Renewable Energy.
• Knowledge in contract management and change order management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with supplier reviews, evaluations, and maintaining relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize procurement of materials and/or services.
• Manage key procurement processes aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Administer the RFP process and coordinate bid schedules with project timelines.
• Review and evaluate supplier proposals for cost competitiveness and value.
• Support commercial negotiations for equipment supply agreements and project orders.
• Monitor contract terms, change orders, and ensure proper flow-downs in subcontract documents.
• Maintain purchasing records and onboard new vendors; travel up to 15% as needed.
