Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Product Manager to own the strategic direction for assigned software offerings delivered on premise and in the cloud. You will shape roadmap and pricing while translating VOC, market data, and business priorities into compelling value propositions and commercial messaging.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering to create sales enablement materials, drive lifecycle strategy, and ensure successful adoption across the software portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in software product management, strategy or related role supporting commercial software products.
• Experience managing software products across full lifecycle: market assessment, business case development, roadmap planning, launch, lifecycle optimization.
• Preferred domain: warehouse execution systems, emulation/simulation, warehouse management systems, or transportation management systems.
• Understanding of on-premises and cloud deployment models.
• Ability to translate VOC, market trends, and competitive intelligence into strategy and roadmaps.
• Experience developing value propositions, pricing guidance, GTM inputs, and sales enablement materials.
• Strong business acumen, analytical problem-solving, and ability to balance customer value with portfolio priorities.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for technical/commercial/executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic direction for assigned software products across lifecycle, on premises and in the cloud.
• Develop and maintain product vision, market positioning, and roadmap recommendations for warehouse software capabilities.
• Align product roadmaps with equipment and solution concepts to support overall strategy.
• Use VOC, market intelligence, and competitive data to identify opportunities and prioritize investments.
• Create business cases, use cases, and value hypotheses linking capabilities to customer outcomes.
• Partner with Commercial teams to develop value-based messaging and sales collateral.
• Define pricing guidance, packaging concepts, and sales tooling for accurate scoping and quoting.
• Communicate strategic priorities to product owners and development teams to inform backlogs and releases.
• Provide strategic guidance to tactical teams and QA for day-to-day delivery execution.
• Act as SME for target markets and workflows to support customer discussions.
• Prepare regular portfolio updates with performance, direction, and market insights.
