Hunter Industries Inc. is seeking a Software Asset Management Analyst to optimize software and cloud investments, focusing on license reconciliation, renewal planning, and cost reporting.

The role collaborates with users, managers, and vendors to ensure licenses align with business needs and compliance goals. The candidate will analyze license usage, track renewals, and develop actionable reports using BI tools such as Power BI and Snowflake, while supporting vendor evaluations and cost

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or an Information Technology-related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in software asset management, software licensing, IT vendor management, or a related role.

Mansioni

• Maintain an accurate inventory of software applications and licenses, including SaaS outside single sign-on.
• Review license usage to identify unused or underused licenses and recommend right-sizing.
• Partner with users and managers to confirm ongoing license needs.
• Track renewals and support timely renewal, consolidation, and decommissioning decisions.
• Develop and maintain reporting on software costs and usage for cost optimization.
• Support cloud infrastructure cost reporting and optimization efforts.
• Assist with vendor evaluations by gathering requirements and coordinating with vendors.
• Identify best-fit SaaS solutions to meet business needs.
• Support vendor management activities and SLA monitoring.
