Job summary

Applied Medical Corporation is seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to independently manage software licensing activities, compliance, usage analysis, and renewal support across assigned publishers. The role focuses on optimizing licensing, strengthening audit readiness, and maximizing value from software investments.

The ideal candidate has ITAM/SAM experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing, and proficiency with Flexera or similar tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing models and license management practices.
Proficiency with SAM tools such as Flexera and IT discovery tools; ExcelExpert is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluate licensing proposals and terms to optimize software usage and cost.
Conduct compliance reviews and true-ups for assigned publishers.
Maintain SAM repository, dashboards, and entitlement records.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Information Security, and technical teams on license purchases and renewals.
Provide guidance to junior analysts and manage cross-team tasks.
