Job summary

HRTx, Inc. is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to oversee software licensing, subscriptions, and maintenance across the enterprise. The role ensures license compliance, optimizes software usage, and supports cost-saving initiatives for U.S.-based operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in IT asset management or software licensing, strong vendor management skills, and familiarity with ServiceNow and Flexera. Healthcare/regulated industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of IT asset management, software licensing, or related IT operations experience.
• Experience in vendor management, including negotiating pricing and managing renewals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal English communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Familiarity with IT asset management tools (ServiceNow, Flexera).
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience is a plus.
• ITIL Foundation or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support volume licensing agreements and software subscriptions.
• Provide licensing guidance to internal IT teams.
• Collaborate with procurement, vendors and resellers for license acquisition.
• Lead or assist vendor procurement activities, including pricing/terms for purchases and renewals.
• Monitor and manage renewals for software maintenance and support agreements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities related to licensing and renewals.
• Support software license audits and remediation plans.
• Maintain records of IT assets and licenses across their lifecycle.
• Proactively manage software license pool to prevent under- or over-licensing.
• Coordinate renewals for subscriptions, support, and maintenance; obtain approvals.
• Validate deployments and license usage using tools like Flexera.
• Respond to audit requests and ensure ongoing licensing compliance.
• Oversee asset tracking for real-time visibility into inventory and status.
• Collaborate with IT support for deployment, recovery, and disposal of assets.
