Job summary

Element Risk Management seeks a Small Business Account Manager to oversee client relationships, ensure policy accuracy, and deliver risk solutions for a growing book of small business clients.

You will manage day-to-day servicing, underwriting coordination, and opportunities to enhance coverage through proactive cross-selling while maintaining high client satisfaction and retention. A strong regulatory and insurance product knowledge base is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field preferred, or IRMI, PLCS or equivalent designation.
• Must have an active Property and Casualty license in required states.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship contact for an assigned book of small business clients, building trust beyond transactions.
• Own renewal relationships and retention outcomes, targeting 95%+ retention through high-touch engagement.
• Identify at-risk accounts and develop proactive retention plans with Account Executive.
• Collaborate with clients to review coverage holistically as business evolves, not just renewals.
• Coordinate with carriers and underwriters to support client outcomes and service quality.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market shifts affecting client relationships.
