Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our Strategic Operations Project Team that is transitioning AFDW ITSM BMC Helix to ServiceNow.

You will be the hands‑on engineering force behind ITSM modernization efforts for the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) and the DoD, building, configuring, and deploying automated workflows, custom applications, and system integrations that replace legacy, siloed processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Current DoD Secret clearance.
• At least 4 years of ServiceNow development and scripting experience (JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, XML).
• ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., CIS, CSA, CMSA) as applicable.
• Strong ITAM/ITOM/ITSM expertise and proven large-scale implementations.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, debugs, documents, deploys, and maintains ServiceNow solutions.
• Automates ITIL processes across IT and business workflows.
• Develops ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB; enhances ITAM/ITOM.
• Optimizes data models and enforces coding standards.
• Creates integrations with third-party tools via REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
• Performs unit testing and resolves defects; documents and trains users.
