Job summary

OCTO is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITFM and HRSD. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.

Responsibilities include system architecture, development leadership, integrations, governance, and documentation to support DC government IT projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• ServiceNow CTA and CIS certifications preferred.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules ITSM/ITOM/ITFM/HRSD/PPM/SPM.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and mentors.
• Gather and translate requirements into technical specs and designs.
• Develop ServiceNow using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML/CSS; config workflows and catalog items.
• Design and implement integrations via REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
• Identify performance improvements and optimize scalability.
• Ensure governance, security, and compliance in implementations.
• Create technical docs and deliver training to teams
